Once you have submitted your booking form, I will contact you to confirm details. Once I recieve the booking form I will send an invoice with a payment link for both the deposit and the remaining balance. Booking will only be secured once the deposit payment of 50% is received. By sending payment you are agreeing to the term and conditions listed on this page. The remaining balance will be due 7 days before the event. I will not be able to paint unless full payment has been made.

Cancellation policy

I understand that sometimes the unexpected happens, in the case of cancellation please let me know as soon as possible.

If you cancel no sooner than 14 days before your event your deposit will be returned to you.

If you cancel no sooner than 7 days before your event your deposit will be non-returnable.

In the rare instance that I may have to cancel I will contact you at the earliest possibility. You will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.

Set-up & Pack-down

I will arrive 15-20 minutes before my agreed painting start time. Please arrange suitable lighting to be available and access to tap water (if there is no tap water available please let me know in advance so I can prepare with plenty of bottled water). If the event is being held outdoors please ensure there is an area undercover to protect from sun and rain. Please ensure there is parking available as close to the entrance as possible as I will be carrying heavy and cumbersome equipment. Failure to do so may result in  me not being set up on time. I will need a break of 5-10 minutes every 2 hours.

The behaviour and safety of the children is the responsibility of the client/parent/carer/host, I will not be responsible for supervising children while painting faces. It is the clients responsibility to manage the queue and direct children to me when there is space, allowing me to focus on the child I am painting and stay on schedule.

I will stop painting at the scheduled time. The client will be expected to pay the full booking fee even if I am used to paint for less time than booked for. If the end of the painting time over runs the client will be responsible to pay for an overlap fee of £12.50 per extra 15 minutes worked as per my hourly rate.

face painting

It is the responsibility of the party host to obtain permission from parents for children to participate. I can provide a permission form if required although verbal permission is usually sufficient. The client is responsible for allowing only those with permission to be in the queue to be painted. Please ensure the participant's mouth and nose is wiped and their face must be CLEAN and DRY before being seated. It may not be possible to paint some people/children for the following reasons: Anyone who appears to be suffering from chicken pox, measles, rubella, impetigo, scabies, cold sores, conjunctivitis, or who suffer from eczema or have open cuts or sores. Children who are generally unwell, reluctant, too wriggly, or asleep, will not be painted. Anyone who has sensitive skin or allergies may be unsuitable to be painted. If you'd like, I can do a skin patch test upon arrival to the inside of the arm and if no reaction has occurred within 60 minutes I can paint their face. Children under 3 years of age will not be painted on the face, I may be able to paint a small design on the arm if the child is enthusiastic about it.

I reserve the right to refuse: Anyone that is, or seems to fall into any of the categories above. Anyone that is abusive, violent, or intoxicated. Anything that could be considered as offensive. Inappropriate parts of the body.
